Technical Support to department of education on effective implementation of National Education Policy 2020 in the state (Rajasthan) in partnership with UNICEF. (Ongoing)
The i2i foundation has been providing the technical support to the SmSA and Department of Education (DoE)since April 2021. The key areas of support provided under this engagement are as follows.
- Unpacking the NEP policy and development of simplified version of NEP
- Preparation of robust implementation roadmap
- Streamlining the M&E system
- Capacity building of smsa and doe
- Convergence and creating synergies among the concerned departments and units
- Review and finalization of STARS program proposals and annual reports.
Community Based Natural Resource Management
Water Stewardship project aimed to improve and strengthen sustainable access to water and sanitation for the communities of 12 project villages spread across Nanded and Baramati in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
The project has successfully impacted the lives of 15,943 beneficiaries directly and 40,913 beneficiaries indirectly. The project targeted to create a water replenishment capacity of 170,000 m3 along with improving sustainable access to water and sanitation. In order to achieve the same, following interventions were designed and implemented under the project:
- Construction of rainwater harvesting structures
- Afforestation
- Rejuvenation of water bodies
- Development of innovative WASH infrastructure
- Community Sensitization and Behavior Change Communication (BCC) workshops

Conservation of water for drinking purposes through traditional water harvesting structure ‘Tanka’ in arid zone of Balaser panchayat samiti, Jodhpur district in Rajasthan:
With financial support from Pernod Ricard India Foundation (PRIF) & United Sprints Limited (USL), i2i foundation constructed 120 Tanka for the most vulnerable households in the targeted region to ensure their access to drinking water.

Relief Response
Crisis support to vulnerable communities across 8 red alert states in relation to the second wave of the COVID pandemic.
For the relief work, thousands of marginalized families were reached out, where 6497 people were directly supported with covid-protection medical kits, and 163944 people were facilitated to get vaccination across 8 states.
In addition, thousands of people were made aware of the covid related Safety norms.
With the support of British Asian Trust and ILFAT, Ideas to Impact Foundation (i2i foundation) reached out to vulnerable communities in 8 Indian States (out of 11 states with ILFAT’s presence); Rajasthan, West Bengal, Bihar Jharkhand, Odisha Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh through twelve field partners with the following services.
- Providing covid-protection medical kits. The kit includes surgical mask, hand sanitizer, surface sanitizer, thermometer, oximeter, PPE Kit and face shield
- Facilitation in vaccinating community people
- Awareness building in the communities on COVID appropriate behavior, importance of vaccination.
Care and Protection
- Awareness on child rights & protection of children and adolescents in over 50 schools in Delhi.
- Career counselling and opportunities after school education for the students, particularly for girls from the vulnerable groups.
